FAQ
Support Registry
What is a Salto Support Registry?
A Salto Support Registry is a simple way to share the items that would genuinely help during
treatment or recovery. It gives friends and family clear guidance so they can
show up in meaningful, practical ways.
Do I have to be in active treatment to start a registry?
No.
Survivorship begins at diagnosis - and support needs don’t disappear when treatment ends. Whether you are newly diagnosed, in active treatment, navigating recurrence, or in
long-term recovery, your registry can reflect where you are right now.
Do I have to create a registry in order to shop products?
No. A registry helps survivors/caregivers create a list of items personal to their needs. However, if you would like to simply purchase items you can do that at any time. Just click the "shop" button on the top menu or any of the product buttons that take you directly to the shop.
Who can create a registry?
Anyone.
- A survivor can create their own
registry. - A caregiver, spouse, family
member, or friend can create one on someone’s behalf.
Support often extends beyond the patient - and we honor that.
Can a caregiver create a registry for someone else?
Yes.
Many caregivers or family and friends, create a registry to help coordinate support and reduce
repeated conversations about what’s needed. Registries can always be reviewed
and adjusted as needs change.
It doesn’t have to be perfect to be helpful.
Does it cost anything to start a registry?
No.
Creating and managing a registry is completely free.
What items can I choose for my registry?
Salto Health curates products designed to support comfort, organization, rest, nourishment, and everyday ease during treatment and recovery.
Our focus is on reducing the mental load for both survivors and caregivers. Items are selected based on lived experience, survivor feedback, caregiver insight, and thoughtful research.
We continue adding new items regularly as needs evolve.
Can I share my registry with others?
Yes. We encourage you to share your registry so that loved ones know how they can help.
You can:
- Share a direct link privately
- (Sharing links is nice when you have a group text or social media group that makes it easier to share all at once.)
- Leave it searchable by name and city (easiest since you do not have to have a link)
- Add password protection (most secure if you want limited access)
You decide what feels right for your privacy and comfort.
What happens if I make my registry private?
If you make your registry private:
- It will not appear in search results.
- Only people with the direct link and password can access it.
You can change your privacy settings at any time.
Can I update my registry later?
Yes.
You can add, remove, or edit items at any time. Needs change, and your registry can
change with you.
Can I track what has been purchased?
Yes.
You can view purchased items within your account and manage acknowledgments
privately.
How do I delete my registry?
You may delete your
registry at any time through your account settings.
If you need assistance, contact our support team and we’ll help you through the process.
